Hmmm its really strange Blueangel... i doubt it now that it is related to my own connection
i completly removed every etfile inkluding PB last evening
downloaded and reinstalled the game again from this page
and i went straight to BH 1 and played and i had no kicks for over an hour, and no lags at all it was so funny to be able to aim and play god again 🙂
then i tapped out and was gone for a while eating!
i came back maybe 20 minuts later and then the problems started again
i changed nothing in my cfg besides hunks , soundmegs and zonemegs
in 10 minuts i was kicked twice for cvar violations loosing keypackets
and nothing was changed about my router or anything... speed was the same
the moore i read about this problem on the net i get moore convinced that it is PB related
if you search on Loosing keypackets you get thousands of hits saying the same thing
it is an update from PB that f*cked up the gameplay and a lot of server owners choose to play without PB running cos they loose a lot of players
and some say it is the end of enemy territory
they rather spec the possible cheaters instead
i hope PB get there things together and solve this problem cos as it is now i know a lot of guys who refuse to play games that runs pb cos it mess up the hitbox and cause lags aso aso
then pb will soon be out of work...
so im back in the same situation again and i dont think i want to spend moore time searching for "whats wrong" i want to play but it seems i cant, sorry but true

I think you are right. i see allot of ppl getting disconnected cuz of loosing keypackets. i had it 3 times also yesterday.
I don't like it also.. but it won't keep me from playing et.
I know also that other servers have set pb off till they solve the problem.
It's up to blue to descide to leave pb on or off.
By setting it off means that admins will have to check every new player, this could be allot of work for us, but i don't mind.
I hope you will still try to play et, and that pb is solving it's problems fast so we can enjoy the game at max.

I see a lot of servers going for these alternative cheat protections lately on trackbase or no protection at all,maybe something like that is the solution,got kicked twice yesterday and the lag returned a few times.Even I will check players if needed ^^.Hopefully there will be a solution soon,don't give up planet m8,we go along for the ride 😉

and getting a cheater is just a matter of speccing/recording.
look on youtube for cheatermovies to see how a aimbot/wallhacker behaves.

I think everyone at BH will keep an eye out for possible cheaters and will alert an admin via private message.

This might be the problem.. This should be set directly after install.... and beforepushing "play online" /connecting to any server.
Im planing a guide on howto do a good install where i will show these kinda things.
Since bomber and me are gaming together and she has also these kicks, we discoverd that leaving webpages open will cause this problem when you are working with a minimizer.
The same thing will happen when you leave xfire on while playing.
Pb ofcourse need to fix it. i think they have a setting to sensitive and that pb reacts when it will even loose 1 packed.
