W:ET dead?!?!

Apparently after 8 full years, Wolfenstein:ET hasn't lost any tiny bit of its magic, as it's enlisted in PC Gamer's top 100 again !

With an amazing rank of number 55, Wolf staged up 15 places since last year.

Gracing the March issue of PC Gamer US is the latest version of their Top 100 Games of All Time, listing, much as one would expect, the 100 best games of all time (as chosen by PC Gamer). Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is once again present and accounted for, calling in air strikes and constructing barricades in the #55 spot. Not only does that mean that Wolf managed to hold its own very nearly almost 8 full years after its release, but it's actually moved up an impressive 15 places since the UK version of the same list came out last year. Wunderbar!!

Nice news to hear. I dont think that ET will die fully. Sure, there will be a big amount of gamers stay the next years with this game. Our older generation (about 30 years + old) plays other games too. Sure. But like me, for example, i have COD Black Ops (and other modern games) and can say its a nice game: As Single and as Multiplayer online. With nice graphics for my quadCore PC :-D and i play it from time to time, but i dont like it like ET. Also Half Life 2 Deathmatch. Its good train for me aiming with the Colt for headshots.
But thats not all. Its so unfriendly (in special COD BO. Bah!). Only walk around and shoot. and many unfriendly other players. No jokes, no talk, no meeting someone for liking him... At ET you have fun, friends, you meet new people, you can laugh... it´s a friendly-friend-game with great tactic needed and a good aim. The younger generation knows this new games like COD and ..., but they dont need only the high powwered graphic-games. They play farmville at facebook or cafeworld for example. They are easy structured games. They often search for good and easy structured games with good gameplay... and this is ET too. Some practice and you have fun to play it...
The hope never dies! I will play ET until i am 60 years old, if its possible :-D

ET yeah fall allways back on it, quake wars mhh after 3 months stoped with it, cod:BO after 3 months stoped with it and felt back to ET.

So i think is stay with ET 😛
