I'd never heard of World of Tanks till I spotted this section of the BH forums.
This looks like the sort of game that Amery and I might enjoy playing.
We used to enjoy playing the old Battlefield 1942 game till we got bored of the run-around gameplay.
What's the gameplay like on WoT?
Is it just a tank frag-fest or is there more to it than that?
I suppose the simple answer is to download it and play it for a bit. But I'd welcome anyone else's thoughts on this game.

its an comby from 1st and 3th person shooter.
Its played online.
You have 2 teams from 15 tanks and you can win by destroying all tanks from oponent or cap the flag.
So teamplay is importend.
You drive a tank (3th person) and when you spot the enemy you switch to 1st person view and try to shoot them.
There are realy nice maps where the battles are held.
The grafics of this game are realy nice, and its in a ww2 envirement.
All tanks are historic accurate and you start with a small tank and during the game you get to upgrade you tanks with the XP you earn.
once a tank is fully upgraded you can buy an other tank wich is an tier heavyer and so on.
You get gold coins each day that you need to save to buy tanks or premium account(double xp), or even buy premium ammo.
We have learned that when you play togeter in a tank platoon, while being on TS its very funny to play the game.
You can ad friends to friends list and battle togeter, or you can play alone to gain xp and improve tanks/skills.
All in all i find it a very nice game.

I've downloaded the WoT exe file whilst playing a few maps of ET.
I'm hoping there's no dodgy Trojans with this - what with it having, as far as I can tell, an Ru origin.
I'll give it a try and report back.

Does nobody else bother shooting the enemies when they're capping?
I bet this won't last. I bet I soon get moved down the ranks for this stat.
