How to change cvar rate

I used to be a member of BH. Decided to come back. 😃

Anyway, I just downloaded ET again, but am having a few problems with it. First, is the cvar rate. How do I change it? Everytime I join the server I get kicked after a while because of this. Second is something about maxpackets, I need to change that too.

Do people still play regularly on the servers?

you can type !BH on the server than your settings wil be set ok
