PC problems

Hello all,

My video card decided today it wont produce pictures anymore. It wants to be a cooking plate to prepare eggs.

No, what happened is this: my ventilation rotor in the video card changed it's mind about rotating. It stopped doing that.
So my video card gets giganticly overheated wich meant I had to take it out and put some old one inside. It gives me 800*600 pixels of the 1920*1080 I'm used too.

So, no gaming for me anymore these days now. Going to the store tomorrow to see if they are friendly and give me, or, a new ventilator, or a new video card.

Probably it is not going to be like this: yes yes, here you go, take it home and have fun with it. I probably have to wait two weeks because they absolutly want to sent the card to nVidia to let them check what is wrong with it...

Good gaming guys and ...
I'll be back!!

Greeting,
Samuta
doesn't your motherbard come with a integrated video card? i cant imagine it being worse than the hunk of junk you speak of O.O (sad story, hope you the best of luck 🙂 )
home build PC with no onboard video slot because we didn't think it was necessary because I would use a video card 🙂
Hi Sammy,
Had the same problem last week...fan jammed-up with belly button fluff, resulting in game crashes, freezes, display problems, display errors ( "Direct X" missing or switched off ) etc.
I took the fan apart and gave a darn good clean ( All the fins & Rotors etc ).
The chips are pretty hardy souls, so just try that 1st. You never know, it may just work. 😃
well, my problem isnt just dust because i do frquently clean it out of dust. The ventilator is broke, it won't rotate anymore. SOmething to do with the little engine or the little balls in it witch make it possible to rotate smoothly.
fixed, so this can be locked and dustbinned 😃
congrats..... now you're back in action? ......congrats again 🙂
Sweet.   😃
