Map Talk

Very nice post here Scouse....but as every known/fine plan goes..what happens to A-1, B-1 & B-3 spotters???
As we are finding-out about "Cliff", you can cover a lot of stratergy ( OMG Spelling sucks 🙂 ), BUT...there will always be a team to rumble your most precise plans.
BUT.............
MORE posts like this will not be a waste of time...there are a LOT of very good aspects of the positioning in this map.
I for one would put the TD that is @ "K3" more forward @ around "K5/6" where the bush is and to spot sooner.
I would also have at least one "Heavy" as back-up on the Left Flank.
SO....
After last nights conversations....A very BIG applause to Scouse for this.
I do hope there will be more ideas for approaching this particular map!!

haha a1 b1 spotters 😛 yea random battles are hectic, but i dont think as last battle the e-100 or maus would leave the buildings to go up a hill and spot our med 😛 but yea was just a thought puttin them up there. yea dropping 1 heavy form the town to help the left flank sounds good. and yea good idea about moving the td forward, i was relying on the 2 heavies at h&g7 to spot anything moving on the right, so the td could use the house from arty cover if a med is to fast to kill immediatly and manages to spot the td.
again would be nice if more ppl could use gtacticx and add thier idea of set-up in this post.
thanks 🙂

Scouse good job mate, As for your plan i agree with terry about backing up the left flank, i would also suggest the heavy in e4 be a fast moving IS7 as additional support if needed (if not already). The two heavies on the 7 line are a little exposed there if my memory serves, I would have to double check this and later think of a solution.
scouse remember the tactic i once had of the 'Convoy' through the centre, will have to post that as an idea when i have more time. Said I was going to do it never did.
Lastly remember elven tactics don't work.

I have G tactics so if I need to draw anything out I can.
Had two more thoughts might it be wise to put either a heavy eg a t30, or a TD or the TD in H5 or 6, or J5. This is to help against any possible fast mediums coming from the right flank which may have got far advanced through the cover of the trees and because if my memory serves the right has that hill as cover as well. Those 2 tanks may not be able to deal with that. Also it gives to last fighting chance against the enemy should the forward positions fall, It could possible still assist the forward positions as well.
What about a fast medium or super fast light tank to light up all the tanks in the trees (one with good camo is essential). This would mean those using the elven tactics would be in serious trouble and also i wouldn't mind betting the enemy arty are in the trees, it would give or arty their first targets then and save or tanks from the bombardment one less worry for us when moving through the town.

One critism of ALL tactic makers nothing personal, just and observation, the same ratio of heavies to mediums to arty appears alot. We rarely if ever consider scouts and its nice to see this pic a TD in use here. In my experience a good scout will win the game for the team using it, if this was el haluf i would point out a fantastic scouting position, an M7 went there once in a battle and no one could get him without being exposed and killed. We get done time after time because we go in blind, if a scout lit up the enemy we may be able to be more prepared and that would save more tanks in the long run. We would need to test the idea but i think it would be worth trying.
