Loosing Tcp/ip settings

This is a long, sad story about my internet connection. 😢

When i play E.T. after 2 hours or so, my tcp/ip settings are gone.
In lag-o-meter i see this:



Strangly enough i freeze,but i can hear normal sounds, and see console messenges pop up

And when i look at the detail status of my internetconnection everything is empty.
so no ip,subnet,gateway..all empty

Disconnecting and reconnect doesn,t work, still no ip,subnet ....only a cpu restart works
I use a router,but when this al happens i can't make a connection with it either.

What did i try myself: 🙄

1.reinstalld E.T.
2.reinstalld Tcp/ip protocol
3.reinstalld Winsock
4.reinstalld networkcard
5.resetting my max. connections from 50 to 10 (maybe overflow)
6.petting my computer and say nice things to it. 😛

This is a E.T. problem only, other games like COD2 run o.k.

Maybe you need to hug your Comp, not pet it 😛 just kidding, hopefuly you have that prob fixed in no time

Try to make a fixed ip for your computer and then have a look again.

i wil try to make a fixed ip, don't know the right ip to fill in..i,m not really a network wizard 🙄

it is also strange that i coudn't make any contact with my router after this happens.
so tommorow i will try another networkcard to.
