Today i had some problems with a BH member and non BH members.
I was told not to play as medic because there is no medic allowed under 5 players? I said what the hell?? Who made this rule?
Our BH member told me the rule was made by admins. I said i coulndt be true. So i looked again at the rule.
So i want to tell you all, including BH members what the rule says.
(you all know how to type !medicrule in console...)
LOL! I had the same remarks and with insistance too as we were playing 4 vs 4 😃
I was the only BH online but several guests put a strong point in explaining me our rules 8O 😆 😆
they even type !medicrule in the console to "prove" me I was "wrong" before I explained to justify myself... 🙄 some were still doubting after... :?
It's only a simple misinterpretation : Some people interprets the rule
"5 players = 1 medic, 7 players = 2 medics etc." as
"from 5 players = 1 medic, from 7 players = 2 medics etc."
instead of
"up to 5 players = 1 medic, up to 7 players = 2 etc."
"We want balanced teams , so on a team of 5 players we dont need 2 or more medics The same goes for Fieldops" It's so clear in our rule book and we play it for so long : strange if some BH ones didn't knew it!... 😉

PS : and now for the fun 😈 ... don't be surprise when 2 vs 2, an admin can ask you not to choose medic class at all, do as you are told but it's not an official rule! 😉 😃

they think
that the rules about medic is 5 players and than 1 medic .
but good to say that if there are 2 players till max 5 than 1 medic allowed .
and so on .
and i hope everybody knows the rules about medic and have fun .
no more misunderstanding in the future of the game 😃 😉 .

For those of you who dont seem to read english very well .......
you might also look at it this way: from 0 till 7 players on 1 team 1 medic alouwed.
From 7 till 9 players on 1 team 2 medics max
from 9 till 12 players on 1 team 3 medics max
from 12 players 4 or more are alouwed.
Note: an admin can at any time overrule the rules , then you peeps have to do what the admin say.

If "7 players = 2 medics" stands for "from 7 (till 9)", what does "5 players = 1" stands for in the console message? "from 0 (till 7)"? I lost the "5" on this one! :?: 😉 It's confusing indeed, this way it should be "0 players = 1" shouldn't it? What is that "5" doing in there! 😳 :?
As the <=BH=>ServerRules says "on a team of 5 players we dont need 2 or more medics", I understood 5 was the first limit, not 7 (confirmed by my interpretation of "5plrs=1"😉 so I misunderstood?... I wasn't confused but finally now I am Blue mate! 😆 😆

Better yet, write "<5 player = 1 medic". Then there will be no more confusion. I also thought it meant 0 medic below 5 players per team, but I got corrected the other day when someone strongly pointed out that that was not the case.

It seems that some members/players have trouble to understand a simpel rule.
Therefor i will explain it 1 more time and then all discussions should be over.
Example : there are 2 teams(allies/axis) playing 8-8 , at this time there are 2 medics alouwed(because above 7 players)
At the map chance 2 off each team go spec , so its 6-6 now, there can still be 2 medics in teams IF admins alouwes it....and teams are in balance and of equel strength.
Ok next map chance 1 off each team go spec so its 5-5 now , now medicrule come in and say 1 medic.....and of course players/members volunteer to chance class before admin have to say it...rigth? 8O if not, admin will limit the medic, and first to die is no longer medic.
the most troubles are in the 5=1medic thing i hear, it is not clear to all what this means.
It means from 0 upto 5 players is 1 medic alouwed PER team.

Not difficult to understand but not such a "simple rule" for this 6-6 exception case... :?
So I'm sorry for my first wrong intervention 😢 but I never heard or read this "5 or 7 limit depending on the situations" before, in chat, in forums or in the <=BH=>ServerRules section (at least in english, but perhaps I missed something?). ➡️ With the only elements I had (my own BH server experience and the website rule section), my first interpretation of the !medicrule message seemed logical and obvious to me... 😳 😳 oops sorry, hope I didn't messed too much but thankfully I wasn't that far from the real rule especially from 0 to 5!
In my opinion I still think the 6-6 particular case and others like are confusing and so is the !medicrule text regarding to "5 players=1 / 7players=2", perhaps saying either "6 and less = 1 and 7 = 2 etc." or "5 and less = 1 and 6 = 2 etc." would have been far more simple to understand, to watch and to explain to guests/members, but no problem admins put the rules, I'll stick to it and do my best to explain if no admin online and rule transgression!
