Just though I would mention this while I'm here ...
I have two WindowsXP boxes almost identical, configs practically the same, mostly the same software and settings, both access to web through a router and topology is identical.
On one box, I can browse the site on any browser I have. IE, Firefox, Maxthon ...
On the other I cant even get the homepage on any browser, IE, Firefox, Maxthon ...
I can browse anywhere else on both ...
Strange ...
All I get is this 500 Internal Server Error With Additional 404 ... I look this up in the web to see whats going on and every single responce/article I can find says it's a server only problem and not possible to fix at the client end! (Yep, I scratched my head too!) They say it's likely a cgi script error and it's the webmaster responiblity to fix it, not that I want you to fix this at all because I'm none to bothered and I can browse the site if I wanted ... it's just weird and I guess I wanted some feedback if anybody is clued ... Don't go giving yourself work or anything, just wonder if you noticed this in the logs or if it's a problem for other users or potential user that might want to visit www.braveheart.gaming.com ...
I figure bollicks, it has to be something at my end but it would have to be something system-wide to effect every browser like on the network-level and incedently if I run linux from the same hardware / connection it works fine too ...
Maybe some setting got bugged or some software is causing it, still all searches and technical info I've read say it's not possible to fix a 500 error at the client side, it's server misconfiguration.
Puzzeled but I wont loose any sleep over it ...
