i have a problem.
ok, today i will play et, i open HLSW select a server and connect, all is ok.. now i'm ingame after 1min. crash et without a error.the error is all the time... i dont know why... what can i do now? ๐
i have reinstalled et (i think 10x^^) delete all files (i saved the etkey and old configs... ๐ ) but always the same.
graphiccard driver is the newest, i havent change my config yesterday, hardware is the same...
i hope all can understand me because my bad english ๐ and i hope some1 can help me 8O

i'm ingame and bam, et is closed... no error.. no PB kick,.. nothing... only the error massage from windows (u know windoof will send a message to MS^^)
EDIT:
ok now i know more.. PB is the prob, i played on 2servers (without a mod) 1with PB 1without PB, on the server without PB i can play, on servers with PB i have this prob.
which graphiccard do you have Radeon ATI or NVidia GeForce ?
nvidia geforce... but it works all the time...
check your cooler and clean him,maybe your pentium goes to hot and you get a pc /ETcrash!
When you join a Server with pb,open your console ^ and read it, look for error messages!
You write you save your config,have you test with normal ET config?

Have you update the pb-web exe in your wolfenstein pb folder(2x click on it)?And get you there errors?

Also running the game in the Windows 2000 compatibility mode might help. To do so right click on the game executable and create a new shortcut. Then right-click on the newly created shortcut, select properties and go to the compatibility tab. Select Windows2000 as compatibility mode.

And now when i try to open ET, it crashes, even when i reinstall it.

I hate damn vista, 1 lucky thing, before the reinstall, it saved all the stuff i had in a special map made by the comp for the reinstall or so, i dont understandt all shit lol.

I have xfire to,did you register on the site off xfire and made there a account?
when you have a account,then you can connect to servers i gues.
on the screenshot you can see,that i opend : Alle servers
Let him search for a bit,and then you can see all the server that are online.
Then double clic on it,then you will connect to it.
give me your account name if you are done,then i can add you ๐

When i start ET it crashes like allways. but now i even dont have a change to get it work.

At the 260b patch, you get new et.exe, and i didnt copy that over the normal exe. i did that now, and it works ๐ ๐

Great C-murder,i've fixed my problem with (pun)kbuster B also i think.I play now with Q-tracker and had no problems later this evening,strange but true ๐ฒ It could be that my problem is the gamelauncher on BH server,i dont know for real,but i'm happy that i can play again without being kicked ๐

I hope that it solves yout problem m8.My firewall had problems with gamelauncher,when he wanted to start com with punkbuster B he saw it as a intruder or something and shut it off ๐ข since i started to play with Q-tracker again,absolutely np ๐ You say you start it from et menu itself,but who knows maybe it works for you,good luck m8 ๐
