How did u get your game name???

We had this topic already in our old forums, but i think this is a nice one to start again.
How did u think up your gamersname and what is the meaning/origine behind this name?


I got my name when i started playing ET, very easy reason, BlueAngel named me this way and i love it still, so i will keep it for the rest off my gaminglife 😃
Sometimes peeps give me other names like Bomby and so on, this is ok with me, i like it, as long as it is simular to BomberBabe.

Friends of mine called me sometimes Tiger (think they where drunk 😃 ) and when et asked me for a nic was the first name in my mind and since there i didnt change  🙂

well my brothers learned me to play this game so
one of my brothres had as name WhiteWolf and since

and never really changed it  🙂

Hey m8ies,
I get my Name on two ways....
first of this is the Hawk, I like this bird and the second is: ET is a wargame with much Blood and bullets. This both things give me my name. Hawkwar is not possible then I have an idea: make the bird to the second part of my name and watch out Warhawk was born.
I hold this name withto the end of my Egoshooterlife...I think its forever 🙂))))

That guy is so cool and crazy.

And i love dogs so i changed it to MurDawG.

RetroLeaves is a combination of Retro and Leaves. Retro is my favourite character from the crazy wilde Japanese anime movie Dead Leaves. It's only about 50 minutes, but it's super intense. I also use Retro's head as avatar on MovieMeter.nl, my favourite movie site. Here's the trailer for those who are interested:

Mine came from a very weird and unknown comic book.
The comic wasn't that good but I found the name of it (wich is also the name of the main weirdo caracter) nice, fun sounding and original.

Also this nick was possible to write as VUZ on good very old video games with 3 letters highscores!... 😛  😃

to explain my gamer-name: Xmaco (in BH since i am a member: only maco)

I have it since circa 2003. Since the STAR TREK Series "ENTERPRISE" was shown in german TV. In the series there is a special military-unit (non-STARFLEET) which are called MACO. This means "Military Assault Command Operations"
I was so fascinated from them. They are very great warriors :-)

One sunny day, cool guy called ODB (Old Dirty Bastard) came on server. ODB was one of 'founders' in Wu-Tang clan (hipi-hop band).
As big fan of Wu-Tang clan, I changed nick on WuTang and we did some teamplay 😃 . I forgot to change it back 😛 . 29ghserghers

Hi for all who wants to know why im oak.
Everyone knows when u get startet with pc everytime u need a username. It sucks to use my real name so i decided to use an originally name from captain future, an old serie that i watched as kid. In germany all people at my age knows it, i think.It was very popular. So i took the name from a pet ( the turtle ).Like an easter egg. It also means my initials from my real name O and K. The third way its very pretty to use it in ET because there its the meaning of a tree "Deutsche Eiche". An old strong tree that means meetingpoint and wisdom. In the past people have a meeting at that tree to discuss some problems or judge. So now u know all what it could stand for and u can decide wich one is the best definition.
